If LC kept his job after 2005, he will probably keep it after this yr too. IMO after watching UM football since 1973, LC will stay until he's ready to retire. We all just hope that it happens soon.

About the only quality win in 2005 was against PSU. I was so pissed I missed the comeback. My wife (PSU grad) was more pissed at me than PSU. Probably happen the same way again. LC only seems unleash the offense when behind by a couple scores. We should run plays like that as a matter of course not just in desperation.:dis:

The Michigan a.d. has already come out and said he supports Carr no matter what so the only way Carr wont be the coach next year is if he retires which I think there's a good chance he will.

I think Carr turns it around and is back next year.

Um, I missed the Michigan AD saying that about Carr...and if that is true, then the Michigan AD may be looking for a new job soon as well.

Lloyd Carr is in almost the same exact boat Phil Fulmer is in. Both teams had horrible seasons in '05 (UT a little worse)...both are starting off horribly this year even though their offenses were supposed to be "spectacular"....and both coaches have won MNCs at the school early in their careers (UM 97 UT 98)

Michigan will lose to OSU again this year. They have a likely chance of also losing to us and UW. Those alone make UM already 1-5. Combine that with a possible loss against MSU (they are a motivated bunch this year), Purdue, and hell...even Illinois (away game)....and UM is staring down the barrel of a 5-7 season.

Lloyd Carr will be gone next year even if it takes a crapload of fans ransacking the ADs office and kicking him out to do it.

That is what he says. Honestly, he has nothing to lose with that statement since LC will probably retire after this year anyway. Even if he wanted to put pressure on him he still could do so behind the scenes.
