This pretty much sums up what I think needs to be sniffed out of the whole SOS thing. People should be looking for how many times they face someone who has a legit chance to knock them off. Give them Georgia, Florida and Auburn on the road and see if they come out of that with a national title shot.
They could have written most of that exact same stuff about Saban and LSU. There you have it in a nutshell. The human voters can be fooled into thinking a team is the best of all, but the "eggheads" cannot.
The Super Bowl comment was clearly tongue n cheek. This guy is from L.A., what else would you expect him to write?
Right!!!!! with that kind of schedule Tulane would have a shot at the Orange Bowl. USC with their weaker than weak schedule is the safe pick to win the championship. Not one single team on their schedule is a contender for a major conference title. They should be very fresh and very healthy come bowl time. While teams that play real games will be in for a hot tub and therapy with the trainers on Sunday, the condoms will be out getting manicures for an occasional chipped finger nail suffered against cream puff U. Undefeated and playing in a major media market would give them a guaranteed trip to Miami against a team that was challenged on the field more in one season by quality competition than USuCk will be this decade. The BCS needs to take the puss ten out of the BCS series until they start playing football at the division I level.:geaux: :lsug: :champs:
I don't think I can stand another year of this USC bullcrap. Hopefully and I do believe that they will stumble and fall. They are suppose to be soo good but lets see if they can prove it on the field. In a way I'm glad thier #1 and I hope it all goes to thier heads, just how good they are that way they will lose.
