I haven't heard much about this, so maybe yall can help. As you know, we lost our longsnapper. A sailing snap to the punter could easily be the difference in this game. Has anyone heard whether or not Wilkerson has mastered the longsnapping duties during practice? In this game, I guarantee you we cannot afford to have a snap sail over the head of the punter, or have one skip along the turf for that matter. Any word on this? Thanks.

Figure out how many bad snaps we had in the 2002 season...

Wilkerson did it the entire year...

    I trust Wilkerson's deep snapping

Wilkerson's a smart guy, and deep snapping is a head thing as much as it is a skill. I feel good about him, and I also know that Donnie is a sharp cookie who can make the best of a bad situation should one occur. All in all, although it is terrible and embarrassing that these two players were so STUPID as to do what they did, I don't think it's much of a concern.

Yeah, I think Wilkerson will do a great job. I have all the confidence in the world in his abilities.
