This may sound strange to you, but you are focusing too much on the game itself. LSU football is not just a 3 hour event. It's an event that takes place all weekend on campus. You will experience one thing here at LSU that you will not get anywhere else. It's a campus wide party!
Sounds like you have been to some excellent events. I have actually never been to a game at Death Valley (though I'm hoping to make the Auburn-LSU game in 2009). From what I understand, it is a fantastic atmosphere. Not sure how much you know about American college football, but if for some reason going to Baton Rouge doesn't work out for you, or if you want to try another college football game, I would suggest you check out the Iron Bowl, which is the annual Auburn-Alabama game. Many people consider it the most intense, bitter rivalry in college football. It is the last game of the regular season each year. During odd years the game is in Auburn. In even years the game is in Tuscaloosa.
