MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Former pro football player Barret Robbins was hospitalized Sunday after he was shot by a police officer investigating a burglary at a South Beach office, authorities said. The one-time Pro Bowl center sustained "multiple gunshot wounds" in the torso Saturday night from Miami Beach police investigating a report of a robbery in the administrative office of a building that houses a nightclub, a gym and a jewelry store, police spokesman Bobby Hernandez said.
