1. Yes, because there are a hundred coaches out there who have taken teams to multiple national championship games and won it once.

  2. Miles is a great recruiter and CEO, that's right great. But he sucks at the coaching part. Doesn't know jack shit about offense and gets in the way of those that do. Miles needs quality assistants to handle every single aspect of scheme, player development, game plan and game day adjustments. Did I mention clock management? Reminds me a lot of Larry Coker, another guy that went to two championships and won one.

  3. well???...how can you not like ANY improvement on what we have. how many championship quality teams do we need to fall short on to not criticize an improvement? there's only one saban...all others seem to be also rans. we've now got the defensive coach almost all want. besides, i'd take tcu's offense year in, year out to almost any other in the land.
  4. not really. les is a good coach, we just can't settle for good anymore

  5. Is it just me or is our new DC sorta cute? Something tells me it's just me.

  7. he sounds smart and is pretty well spoken. kinda gets me going.
  8. No argument over anything you're saying here, but extreme comments like the previous one (the Lombardi comment) drive me nuts.
There are 127 FBS football programs. You are saying you'd take ANY of their coaches over Miles? Boston College scored 19 touchdowns all season....you want that guy? Just one example; I won't belabor the point.
  9. Could just be you.

  10. A great pass rush does it for me; I had a thing for Sidwell and Fangio back in the Dome Patrol days.
