Cleveland hires USM's Rip Scherer as QB coach. Looks like Fisher will be here this year.

given the shortcomings at the QB position and strength of the running game, what other choice did he really have?

I somewhat agree with Contained. We all do not know if Russell or others decided to not go for Reciever A over B and so forth.

I am not a HUGE, HUGE Jimbo fan but I have faith in the man that he can lead our QB's next year to an SEC Title. He is quite a good coach, IMO.

Agreed - he was, after all, our OC when we won the championship!

I was kind of hoping he would leave and Miles could finally open up the offense. It aint happening on Jimbo's watch. The fact that we pay this moron $400,000 a year for calling plays which are all: Give it to Addai on 1st and 2nd and to Broussard on 3rd astonishes me.
