Saban just hired his fifth coach with ties to Auburn when he hired Stacy Searles to coach your O-line. Auburn just hired Steve Entsminger, who was either a QB coach or Off. Coordinator at LSU several years back. Interesting for two programs with such a heated rivalry. Much success to both guys!
When Saban came down from Michigan State he knew it was important to hire assistants with SEC experience. Most important Auburn ones were Jimbo Fisher, bright new offensive mind, and Pete Jenkins, who had coached 10 years previously at LSU.
It would make sence to hire former Auburn coaches or players. AU has been fairly consistent in a whacky SEC West where often the winner could virtually be picked at random. Auburn has played similar ball as LSU the last few years so maybe we can get some good guys that know this style of football.
Why does Auburn insist on calling themselves Tigers? you guys are the Plainsmen. You don't even have a tiger mascot! Stop using our teams's name, Auburn!!
