Yes but we're still talking about Ohio State, so let's keep that within context.
If you want go with the conferences then:
The SEC has a winning overall record against every single conference except the Big 10.
The SEC is 87-94-7 against the big "10" overall. BUT, The SEC has a winning record against every team in the big 10 except Michigan and Iowa. And with Iowa the SEC is 3-4 so that can change in one year. I will leave Iowa out of this because I have nothing against them and because I respect you as a Hawker fan.

So, really the only team that has distinct winning record against the SEC is Michigan at 19-5-1. WOW, Michigan is 19-5-1 against the SEC? Oh wait, let's take a look at those quality wins. 10 of those wins by Michigan came against helpless Vandy and two other wins came against Kentucky and Ole Miss...So I guess there is more than meets the eye on that one. Still Michigan has done well against the SEC, too bad they can't win the darned Rose Bowl and get owned every year by the pac 10 champion.

Now for Ohio State, The SEC is 10-7-1 against Ohio State. But let's remember...Ohio State scheduled Vandy and Kentucky 7 out of those 18 matchups (8 of which were bowls I believe). So really OSU scheduled Vandy and UK 7 out of 10 regular season SEC games. Needless to say OSU went 6-1. I will give OSU props for beating LSU in a great game, out of two games between LSU and OSU the scoring margin was only 3 points in both combined. And all of this without mentioning Ohio State's inability to beat an SEC team in a bowl game. Whats the streak at now, 0-8? Anyways I believe my case has been stated, I could go on. Good luck to the Hawkeyes, beat OSU and UM if yall play them :thumb:

Whoops, I forgot a couple records against the Big 10, SEC is 21-26 against Indiana also, and 3-5 against Minnesota. (23 of Indiana's wins came against Kentucky, MSU and Vandy. Also, 2 of Minnesota's 3 wins came against Vandy still solidifies my point)

"Get your facts right first, and then you can distort them as much as you please." (Mark Twain)

To your point: "Yes but we're still talking about Ohio State, so let's keep that within context."

tOSU kinda reminds me this year of their 2002 run... not overly impressive, just kept winning, just kept improving.
Last year tOSU was good out of the gate and never seemed to get better. Florida was the one playing close games and somehow winning, looking to improve each week.
Two different mindsets... even up and through bowl preparation. Two rosters full of future pros, but Meyer did an outstanding job of having his team prepared. He put together a masterpiece of a gameplan and it showed.

Actually, I have the same concerns watching LSU this year as I did watching tOSU last year. It's almost as if LSU hit a peak around the South Carolina game and hasn't added extra dimensions since. I hope I'm wrong because I've become a closet fan of the Tigers, but I see similarities.
