The way Holtz and May play off each other can be amusing. They never agree. When they argue Notre Dame football, it's priceless.

Man, you guys are harsh. I like ol' Lou. Dude has got to be in his seventies, yet he is still passionate enough (and has the balls) to get in front of all of America and try to teach ethics, football, life lessons, you name it. Why does that bother so many? Is it just because he is old? I would describe him as wise, entertaining, and passionate. I wish we had more like him, someone who sees the forest through the trees. Granted, he is terrible at making picks, and is completely being a homer about WVU over LSU. I hope I have as much energy and passion when I am his age.

He realizes it. All the way to the bank where he cashes a check many times larger than ours.

Holtz has picked against LSU every time this year IIRC. May is far more pro SEC and it's all a show to keep people entertained.

As people who are SEC fans it's hard for us to imagine, but there's an audience that's far bigger that doesn't like the SEC or prefers other conferences. ESPN is doing what it needs to to cater to both audiences.

He can't pronounce 'Oregon' correctly 3 times in a row. How many e-mails does it take?

Razorback fans are saying Mark picked Arky to win this week. However last night in picking their teams on upset alert, he didn't mention Bama. They would have easily been the higher ranked team. So I'm assuming May hasn't lost his mind this early in the season. Holtz, a lot of times, just picks opposite of May for the point of discussion. Holtz also made it clear that he was born in WV.

Really amazing how many great coaches have come out of that dink state. John McKay, RichRod, Jimbo fisher, Bob Huggy Huggins, and the greatest of them all coach Nick Saban. And while we are on the subject of great, don't forget Franki Yankovic (polka musician, extraordinaire).

Holtz always picks the underdogs. He picked LSU week 1, Notre Dame week 2, He gave his "pep talk" to FSU last week, and now he is doing it for WVU

ESPN does this for a reason, media hype

Corso & Holtz are "supposed" to pick the upsets.

Bowden Boys are from WV as well. I think Bobby was born before his dad took the job, but he was raised there

It's embarrassing to watch him give some of his picks/predictions, TBH....sometimes, to the point I feel sorry for him (seriously). Because, honestly, if any of us had the opportunity to sit down and talk to him one-on-one (wearing a face shield of course), we'd probably all have a nice time of it and enjoy it.

He's like that great uncle that you know is crazy and more so than not, he says something that makes you go, "Huh?!?!?!" ....but you still tolerate him because you know old people like him mean no harm.
