The Swamp is overrated. I went to the LSU game there 2 years ago and sat under the scoreboard area and the Gator chomp" song was blaring out of the speakers. Before they put the speakers on and had only the band on the field performing it wasn't that loud.

Game atmosphere of stadiums that I have actually been to I would have:
    1. Tiger Stadium
    2. Auburn (the eagle was awesome)
    3. Alabama
    4. Florida
    5. Ole Miss
    6. Vanderbilt
    7. Miss State

Hopefully this year I'll be able to go to UF, AU, UT, and the Arkansas game

I think this all depends on the game. I was at the FSU-UF game in 2001 and the atmosphere was electric. That's probably an understatement as well...

It's funny how people from other parts of the nation think everything in Louisiana was destroyed by Katrina.

its not funny when recruits think that. hopefully, since les is recruiting near BR, they willl know that its not like BR is getting hit by hurricans every year but out here in california, i was talking with a teammate(a QB since soph year) and when talking about how i wanted to go to lsu, he replied that there are too many hurricanes. i obviously told him that BR and NO were totally different in terms of impact of the hurricane. still, whats to say a kid just ignores the letter because its from a louisiana school

This either happened a LONG time ago, or is complete bulls***. I've been sitting about 25-30 rows bove where the visiting cheerleaders graze since the mid-80's. I've never seen bottles being tossed. Not even during the Hallman years when we should have been throwing stuff. This is just another classic example of other "fans" being scared of our stadium.

I wanted to throw some lead (if you know what I mean) at Booty, the game we lost to UAB, when stuff could have been thrown, but wasn't. These guys... what cream puffs...

They schedule Texas for two years and think they are the greatest team ever.

    This year, try beating them.
