More fluff, no substance. You're starting to sound like Nancy Pelosi ducking, dodging and changing the subject.
I thought about it. You're right. I would really prefer that people would just quit smoking (even moreso OUTSIDE than in) but I'm not willing to have the government intervene in the offering of business service for that purpose. Ultimately there are plenty of places to eat, drink, whatever that it's not worth making such a big deal.
seriously, I tried but you've proven incapable of making any coherent argument. there I go killing socialism one infectant at a time. you live in cali so at least you have an excuse. its almost inescapable.
I'm not familiar with the use of infectant as a noun. And Orange County is to California as vitiligo is to Michael Jackson.
me neither but it was fun so i did so. i also used unto earlier which was fun as well. although it likely didnt make sense. what is vitiligo? i think i just took the bait.
I got a call the other day from some pollster asking about this same type of law in Oklahoma. I explained to him that while I did not smoke, never have and that I can't stand smoking in resturants and the like, that I am not in favor of the law. If a business owner wants to initiate such a policy of his/her own accord that is fine but the government has no right to do so. While my personal bias could shrug it off on the surface because it is something that would increase my personal satisfaction, deep down I would always be on the lookout for what is next?
Now you know how I feel most of the time. To Michael Jackson, a white skin discoloration that just don't fit. He'd like it to go away but it's permanent and it's glaringly obvious.
oh i thought it was the password they used in Eyes Wide Shut.:lol: the absolute worst movie of all-time. stanley kubrick my ass.
It was bad and a sad project for him to depart on. I give him a pass based on The Shining (okay bigger credit to Jaaaack) and Full Metal Jacket. Back to the point however......I don't need an excuse. I am okay to evaluate my position and amending/saying I was wrong if presented with a better argument.
you don't have to. no one is forcing you to be in the same area as smokers. smokers are not coming into your home and filling it with 2nd hand smoke. no one is dragging you into a smoking establishment to force feed you their toxins. you can choose to not go to these bars/restaurants. if you and enough other non-smokers continously make this choice, the owners will realize they are losing money and change their policies without government interference. That is how the market is supposed to work. Not by the government saying "well, lets just force everyone to live by this group's methods."
