Herbie picked us to lose against USC too. That Big 10 homer is a joke he hates LSU and the SEC. He picked Miami to win it all this year. One show they were talking about the best one loss teams and he said Texas and Cal were the 2 best 1 loss teams. They both lost that day. The nest week he said W.Vir. was the best one loss team and they lost that day. I used to like the guy but if you can be dead wrong one all your predictions then why should his opinion be any good. Even though Herbie was wearing a tie with purple & gold in it, in no surprise he picked Michigan. Mark May stayed on our bandwagon picking us. Holy smoke. The third guy whose name escapes me picked LSU.
As silly as that bit is, it sure was amusing seeing Herbie take it so seriously. "Michigan would not allow 1 yard from the LSU running game with that defense" AHAHAHAHHA!!!!

I loved watching that myself. He was so aggravated with the decisions. I really think May just wanted to go at Herbie to piss him off. He was getting a kick out of watching Herbie cry like a baby. When Davis was acting like he was gonna change his decision and put OSU ahead of LSU, ole Herbie lit up again. Davis cracks me up how he always talks about Les "the hat" Miles.
