i'd like to see a gold (alternate jersey) come back. i liked the one in the florida game a few years back. call me a sick bastard.
Save the purple for special games, every two or three years, I say. That would preserve the traditional white and the instantly-recognized LSU look. It would really let the crowd get into it. Purple is just too damn ugly to wear all of the time. It looks like a SWAC uniform. Two times a year is way too much.
Well, neither of those two games are on TV anyway, so it's not like people around the nation get to see us wear purple.
Forgive my ignorance, but I have a question. Wasn't there some controversy over LSU wearing the purple jerseys on TV or something? Maybe it was the gold.. hell, I don't remember.
