Saban hates when that happens, the barn comes to mind.

I agree with you. Time and circumstances has everything to do with these games.

Coaches, better understand human nature, at least as well as X's and O's, if not better, or they will continue to loss one, too many games each year.

Comparing scores is a futile waste of time. Did you win enough to get the job done that day. I doubt Saban even allows Bama to see the tape of that Texas a&m game. What would be the point, it's not anything were going to see in Pasadena.

i didn't read all of this thread, but they both seem to have the same style of play. very similar to my eyes. you change the colors of the players and put them in P&G and it looks very similar to LSU's team of 2003 (or 2005 even.) it looks like a well-coached saban team -- as opposed to some of saban's weaker offerings. i think at the end of his coaching days you could look at some of his finest moments as a coach and 2003 LSU and 2009 BAMA are sure to stand out. the scary thing is he's just getting started with the Tide.... we'll have to contend with Bama for a while, unfortunately.

We still had the better D in 03 than this Bama defense has now.

You can pass on this team. The 03 LSU team, no way no how.

At this point I got out 92 team over this group on defense, specifically DB's.

Offensively, this team is much more dangerous.

    Both extremely physical.

The 92 team would come and get Saban's 2003, lunch money. :thumb:

Yes, he had that incredible interception where he literally stole a TD from a Miami WR.

But my favorite Teague moment was when he ran off the sideline and tackled TO for dancing on the star in Texas Stadium in the '00 Cowboys/49ers game. I can still hear Madden, "And here comes Teague!"

    I wasn't even a Cowboys fan, then.

Yes, Antonio Langham, Sam Shade, George Teague, Willie Gaston.

So many NFL players off this team who stayed in the league for a while.

George Teague used to speak at a church that was next door to where i lived in Texas, he is a pretty good guy, and is a hero in Texas for defending the star and blasting TO.
