Don't get me wrong, I hope you beat the snot out of OSU. I just don't agree with the notion that you guys should be ranked higher at this point.

No problem, who really knows where anyone should be ranked right now?
We all have business to take care of before the BCS rankings come out October 15th. All we can do is try to keep winning.

... that won't be their tar you see on the field!!

    Why Iowa will win:
    1) Kinnick Mystique... pink locker rooms, lowered visitor tunnel (make 'em bow down to enter the field), offset field (it's 18 feet from the sidelines to the stands on the Iowa side and only 12 feet on the visitors side)... and we're something like 34-3 at home since 2001. Although I'm not foolish enough to compare the noise to Tiger Stadium, we get very loud... it's a compact stadium.
    2) OSU has played tougher opponents in Texas and PSU, but both started first year QB's, who couldn't sustain drives... as good as they might be someday, they ain't Drew Tate.
    3) OSU has had to show more in their wins than we have. We have been very vanilla and Tate missed one game.
    4) Our defense is as good as anyone tOSU has played, probably better. OSU has won with turnovers and special team play, not consistent drives.
    5) Both Tressel and Ferentz try to control the tempo on offense and keep things in front of them on D. If it comes down to red zone scoring or field goals, we win hands down.

    Why tOSU might win:
    1) The "vanilla" offense we've been showing actually IS our offense.
    2) They actually are the best team in the conference.

The offset field (iowa side is on the right):

#10 is not an unfair ranking.
