This one could get ugly. If J. Banks doesn't get a pick or two off of Mett, and Tyler Russell can't move the ball, this one will get ugly rapidly. I do think the Dogs come out playing inspired football after two weeks of humiliations. I think this game will be like the 2009 game... at least for 3 quarters. Dan Mullen has proven time and time again that he can't win the big games. Don't know if it is talent gap or just lack of gameday coaching talent, but there have been a number of letdowns. Even Croom beat teams like 'Bama multiple times.
Only reason I am predicting this is Death Valley at night, new streak begins with the 1st victory, LSU 35 MSST 17.
I miss ClaireDog. Mouth1nfaced is too reasonable. I like Mullen and I think he's a much better X/O coach then Croom. He may throw LSU a few wrinkles. Its just hard recruiting against Bama and LSU on your doorstep but he has made great strides. Some of the recent bowl games are a good sign.
Mullen is good xs and os like Noth said but he seems to get lost as the game goes on. Seems to be a familiar theme lately.
