NCAA might face damages in hundreds of millions

A story about a player who is sueing his college because he left school with 6,000 in credit card debt when he expected a full-ride scholarship. It could be a class action suit.

But they list LSU as #5 in football revenues after Texas, Georgia, Michigan and Alabama.

So Cal fans suck. IF LSU won back to back and played for another they would be #1.

Interesting that 5 of the top 10 football revenue schools are in the SEC.

That's crap. The majority of their education is paid for and is still unhappy.

Someone should sue the NCAA for allowing schools to admit these athletes with lower academic standards than the rest of the students.

I'm tired of these ungrateful SOBs...

I don't care. The NCAA should be paying the athletes for all the revenue they generate in football and basketball. If not pay the athletes, they should at least put money into an account that can be accessed upon graduation for their services.

That could grow into a big ugly monster. The second you start paying these guys is when your going to the game change forever. If it aint broke then don't fix it.

no chit man, how many billions are memebers of the ncaa getting off of these kids? and the ones on scholarship arent even allowed to have a job! Then when they find a way to make money, they get in trouble if anyone finds out. Sure there's crooked guys out there with their hands out, but if your name isnt michael clayton or kevin faulk, or one of these other big name guys... you're not gettin anything and still have to pay for a lot of things that go along with being in college.

Honestly, do you think half the guys play big time college football primarily to get an education? It's one of the nice things when most don't make it in the NFL or NBA that they have a degree to fall back and hopefully not in something like general studies. The athletes generate millions of dollars for the school and should see a little bit of action for it. These guys aren't allowed to hold part time jobs which is absolutely ludicrous.

They can have jobs outside of the football season.
