in the AP, lsu jumped texas and florida... auburn moved up to number three... sounds like cbs might be promoting their game :-D wasnt florida just as impressive in their game this week as lsu??? not complaining... it's just odd... btw, usc is number four in ap and two in the coaches... Im sure it has nothing to do with the fact that espn promotes the coaches poll, and usc's playing on espn... :hmm:
I don't usually pay a whole lot of attention to polls. Unless there is a stripper swinging from it.
The reason why LSU's game looked more impressive was because most people though AZ had a good D and they figured this was AZ's year to make a bowl game. The fact LSU went into the game and totally blew them out of the water mad it much more impressive than Auburn beating Miss. State which no one though was going to be a challenge. Florida should never have been ranked ahead of us. We beat them last year and they lost their bowl game. We had a better recruiting class. The only reason they were ahead of us was because most AP thought "this" was the year for Urban and his spread option. This was based off of assumptions as all last year proved was that the Spread Option sucked in the SEC.
i retract my statement about usc and abc... the commercial actually showed usc as number 4... instead of number 2 (coaches poll) like I figured they would
They dropped the coaches bowl because it automatically awards a national champion, and because it goes to the BCS, which it also now hates. Why do they hate it if it's on ABC? Because Fox has it now. Whoops!
