LSU a possible destination for Robert Marve? (speculation)

    Didn't really watch many Miami games so I have no idea if this kid is any good.

    But Marve's short time as the Hurricanes' starter was marred by two incidents, both deemed serious enough to merit keeping him off the field.

    He drew a one-game suspension to start this season because he was arrested on a misdemeanor charge related to an act of vandalism on Oct. 31, 2007, which is consistent with the policies Shannon put into place when he took over as coach two years ago.

    Marve's second suspension was for missing class for the fourth time in the semester, though he said he was only late to the class because he was speaking with another professor.

    I don't have any inside info on this one but I will take your word for it.

    But I don't see Les taking a crack at another RP situation and this time with prior knowledge of his history.

    I would be totally dumbfounded if LSU crowds the QB situation that much more with a kid with RP-like qualities off the field.

    I really don't know anything about the kid or the situation he's in at UM, but if LSU's interested in him maybe it's with him at some other position besides QB. Anyone know?

    I wonder who did the "mentioning" of Marve to LSU ? Was it Marve or speculation by the talking heads at the four letter network ? Either way, I'd be shocked to see it happen.
