I just want the season to start....win, lose or draw, let's play some football. The offseason is killing me.
Same here. Id kill just to get to play NCAA 2005. July 1st was bad enough, then EA pushed it back to the 14th. :cuss: :cuss: Im dying here. I need football!
I think the rivalries matter on the sport. Football: Ole Miss, Arkansas, Georgia Basketball: Ole Miss, Florids, and Miss State Baseball: Ole Miss, Tulane, Southern(even though 1 game, usually interesting)
You own Auburn and the SEC? Wow now that's an assinine claim if I ever heard one. You are 20-17 against Auburn. Alabama is 43-19 against LSU. So if LSU "owns" Auburn, then LSU is pathetic slaves to bama. I would also note that means Auburn and bama's combined record against LSU is 60-39 so YOU are owned by the state of Alabama. I can see why ya'll don't want to declare your main rival  Heck ya'll are 5-19 against Tenn. So what's this we own the SEC crap? Has the nectar of a co-NC paralyzed your brain? Hope I don't get flamed by the rest of the board for this post. I'm not trying to be a butt on your board. Just note that I didn't bring the topic up.
REd is sooo wrong about this, just like his politics he missed the boat. My Uncle is a die hard Bama fan and the Auburn/Bama rivalry is HUGE. Bama is hot on TN's trail right now, no doubt because of the probation BUT it won't ever be like the in state rivalry. Like LSu and lefire: FLorida/ Florida ST USC/UCLA Oklahoma/ Oklahoma St. Georgia/Georgia Tech These rivalrys heat up and cool off a little through the years depending on how good each team is and if it is lopsided for a few years. One way you can tell a rivalry is if no matter what the record, they bring it to you. I think that puts Ole Miss/ LSU as ours hands down. folks if you miss this one you can ride in the same blind buggy with Ray Charles You know sometimes it's just my opinion and I'm sure that's how it's viewed but dahm it's hell when your just freakin RIGHT.
Incorrect. We recently had to drop Clemson because of home games conflicts. I really wish we did play them like we used to, which was every year, but the UF game really handicaps our ability to schedule another big-time home game. And a interesting note, the longest playing rivalry is actually UGA/Auburn but it's more of a calmed down one.

Not calmed down in the literal sense but compared to FSU/UF and AU/Bama...I don't think UGA/Auburn is as intense as those two. Some on the AU site did want to beat UGA before Bama but I really dont think they are the majority.
