We also got swept by UGA in our first SEC series which I believe was the last time we won the CWS.

It's been well documented that expectations for this year's team were way down due to the heavy losses of harris, Stav, Patty, Deter, and Smith. It's hard to get mad when losing so much talent and having to use so many young people. I would say that what worries me more is Dirks struggling so much this year. I hope it's an abberation, but maybe Smoke will consider switching Olvey and him since Dirks used to be a Saturday starter.

Tirk, I hope you're gonna give us scores today as well. The real fans just root for the team...every game, regardless of the outcome. Thanks for the update last night! ;)

OK... some of you seem to be overlooking the fact that UK is MUCH improved this season and that LSU was playing in pretty cold weather from what I can tell... you ever tried to play ball in weather that cold? the bat stings the **** out of your hands... not an excuse, but I can sorta see why they lost this game and it has nothing to do with LSU being a "sucky" team in any way. I figured we'd lose 2 this weekend, so we're on our way... it's not such a bad thing. The way this team has been playing gives me a lot of confidence in this team...

The cold weather is no excuse for the egg they laid yesterday. The first three series at the box were cold and it sure didn't affect their level of play.

I didn't say that it was, just saying that it really sucks playing ball in the cold...

Tigers down 4-1 in the bottom of the 5th.
