Missouri intitiated a conversation with Texas that adding LSU & Arkansas to the conference would bring new tv revenue up to the 25 million dollar range. So far everything is hush hush, but little leaks are starting to happen as some information is carefully put out to the media. Sometime Tuesday afternoon is the suggested time period for all of this to take place. Makes you wonder what is going on.
Now why didn't I think of that. I mean it makes so much sense. A charter member of the SEC (and a one year after inception member of the former Southern Conference) is going to toss out nearly 90 years of athletic tradition, ignore rivalries nearly that old and leave the best conference in the country. </sarcasm> Ah, crap, now I've fed the troll too. :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
Let's just hijack the thread and make it about whatever we want. What's your favorite thing to order from McDonald's? I personally like the #4 with a coke.
I don't eat McDonald's anymore (long story). Not that I'm off of junk food. A SuperSonic burger with tots and a cherry limeaid, light ice, hits the spot. :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
Yeah, I don't eat Sonic anymore (long story, too that is gross), but I used to love the frito chilli pie. Anybody shop at Wal-Mart? They've been renovating ours and I don't even know where half the crap is anymore. They said that they were trying to get em all to be the same. I don't like it. (Have we succeeded with this yet?)
my name is okie, and im a sonic addict. and i hate shopping at wal-mart. but they did change the grocery store around some. i ran in to get a few things real quick the other day..... not so quick.
Lowes changed their store around. Same thing, they said they were trying to make them all the same. I spend about 4-5k per month in Lowes. It's been 6 months and I still go to the wrong aisles. Lowes is the one store I actually visit physically, instead of just calling in an order. This rearranging stuff drives me nuts!
I'm going to briefly steer the thread back to the topic of conference realignment, cuz there's no other place to put this observation: Unless something changes, the Big 12 now has 10 schools and the Big 10 has 12. That's it; resume hijack.
