1. Prothro being out won't effect our field position at all. He wasn't averaging anything special on kick or punt returns anyways. It looks like Simeon Castille will be returning punts for us now and I'm excited about that, he's got some moves. Darby won't have to carry us, you forget about our QB Brodie Croyle. Brodie is a 5th year senior who is as calm and smart a QB you're going to find anywhere. He can step up and make the big play when the game is on the line as he has done 2 out of the last 3 weeks. DJ Hall is our new go to receiver who has 10 plus catches and over 100 yards in the last two games. Zeke Knight is finally stepping up at WR and with Keith Brown thrown into the mix, our passing game should be able to put a dent in your mediocre secondary. Our defense should be able to stop your running game, it's good but nothing special. Russell makes more dumb mistakes than any QB in the conference and against the best defense in the SEC and against the loudest opposing crowd he's faced all season, I expect many more from him. Not to mention the penalties that LSU commits...with the crowd at Bryant-Denny I see that also playing a factor. You're crazy if you think LSU would beat Bama with Pro by 10 points. Your team will not score 27 on our defense, we have allowed 19 points in the last 4 games combined. UT fans were saying the same thing though, predicting about 24 points or so. They scored 3. Your offense is better but still won't be able to put up more than 17 at the most. I say Bama 20 LSU 10.
  2. All that I just said...But good for you to chime in fellow Bama fan and back me up. LOL

Btw, Keith Brown...He did not see ANY action today. IMO he's a way better reciever than Hall. WHY? Is he in trouble or do you know. They had no explaination on TV.
  3. I didn't see your post, I was typing mine when you posted your's I guess. Weird that we said the exact same things though, I guess we just both know our team pretty well. As for Keith, I don't know why he didn't see any action today. I'm guessing, unfortunately, that he is injured somehow. Keith has a lot of potential and could develop into a better WR than DJ, but right now DJ is much better. He gets open more than Keith and has better hands. He catches the ball better than Keith, but DJ has had problems lately with fumbles. I think DJ is just now starting to find his groove and is catching fire, Keith has shown some really good things this year and is better after the catch than DJ. I just hope he was nursing a very minor injury today and will be back next week. Roll Tide!!
  4. Just got an update on Keith Brown. He has a bruised thigh and could've played today but the coaches opted to hold him out. Good decision considering the fact that we need all the WR's healthy and we were playing UTST. He should be ready to go for MSU.
  5. I still beg to differ with you on Brown. He runs crisper routes, is bigger, faster, and im not sure about DJ having better hands. Sure, he has stepped up these last couple games, but they (UT) keyed in on Brown and that's why DJ got so many balls thrown his way. No doubt they are both good recievers and if we get a good and healty Pro back next year, we will no doubt have the best recieving core in the SEC with Pro, Hall, and Brown. Btw, Tim Hawthorn seems to be favoring us...THATS GOOD!

    ROLL TIDE!
  6. Kenneth Darby will get get tattooed all day long by our D. Yea, irons ran on us well, but everyone has a bad day.

Croyle can't complete a pass if our LB and DBs are constantly putting him on his ass. He is a great QB when given the time to complete a pass.

Prothro was Bama's Reggie Bush, he added a whole other dimension to your game. Without him, bama will not break any long plays. DJ Hall is good... but he isn't Prothro.

My actual opinion of the score is this:

LSU 27 Addai will rush for 121 yards and 1 TD, Skyler will house a PR, Bowe will catch a TD and we will get 2 FGs

Bama 13 Darby will score a TD, and 2 FGs
  7. OK who in the hell said Brodie was a God?! I said he was better than Cox and had a good arm. What the hell is wrong with that? Oh and who said anything about the Bear? I didn't, and I didn't say anything about the past...You idiot opposing fans (not all of you this DA) bring that up all the time for no reason--like we are holding on to the past or something. He won some games and titles, but now he's dead and gone. Im talking about 2005--nothing else.

About our D...Why cant we brag or talk about them? We are in the top 10 in EVERY statistical category in college football. Is anyone else in the NCAA? No, we are the only team that can say that....So HELL YEAH, our D is good!

You my friend are acting like LSU is the best team that every assembled. Granted, I know that we can be beat. I know college football. You think LSU will win every game in front of them. For what? Why? You guys are pretty good but have had plenty of UGLY wins.

Arizona State--Not a very good team. Won on a 4th and game situation.
    Tennessee--Hmm, choked to a now 3-4 team
Florida--Come from behind victory from a team we DEMOLISHED!
    Auburn--Their kicker missed 5 FG's...Need I say more?

So you guys aren't blowing people away. You're not the best team ever. You can be beaten. Your young QB is good but he's that--young and makes mistakes. Isn't the brightest crayon in the box. LSU is coming into Tuscaloosa to face a determined Alabama team that is undefeated so far...Even the most hardcore LSU fan wouldn't call this a cupcake. So think before you type idiot.

    ROLL TIDE!
  8. Who called Bama a cupcake?

wow, you called him a idiot too!

  9. The very first post in this thread lost me...if CBS is broadcasting a game, GameDay will not be on campus.

To think we might be able to put as many yards on LSU running as Irons did would require having the OL Auburn has. We don't.

If the over/under on this game came out today at 35, I'd take the under.
