Did you notice him flashing his NC ring yesterday? Or does he wear it every game? I thought he was saying, "See this ring?"

 

He wore it for the Arky game too. My buddy was giving me shit for it.

I think he has a Super Bowl ring from when he was with the Cowboys.

 

I thought so too, but I looked at his resume and that doesn't appear to be the case.

All of this is correct, Nootch. As much as it galls me to say it, the time for a change has come, and I'm ready. But to suggest that he was constantly holding LSU hostage and threatening to leave is nonsense at its finest. Saban was the bastard that made us endure that sort of talk every single year that he was at LSU, always making us feel that we were merely a stepping stone, not a destination.

I think its going to require patience from the admins and fans no matter who the hire is. The locker room is filled with players who have been coddled and spoiled. I believe the right guy will not be as soft on his players. Someone who is a disciplinary type coach, that will demand accountability from everyone. These prima donnas aren't used to someone strict and probably will not react well to it at first.
