here are the awards for the 2010 LSU Tigers in my eyes.
offensive player of the year. Stevan Ridley
defensive player of the year. Kelvin Sheppard
special teams player of the year. Josh Jasper honorable mentions, Derek Helton, Ron Brooks, Patrick Peterson.
freshman of the year. Tyrann Mathieu
comeback player of the year. Jarrett Lee
    best o lineman. Joe Barksdale
    best receiver. Rueben Randle.
    best d lineman. Drake Nevis
    best defensive back. Morris Claiborne.

    best phase. special teams.

biggest disappointment. Jordan Jefferson and Terrence Toliver.

and the first annual hookfin award goes to Karnell Hatcher for being the worst defensive back i have seen since hookfin himself.

great season, ended with the only team that was able to beat LSU Tigers this season beating them again, LSU themselves.

    Pretty good list!

You sure you don't want to add best/worst coach of the year honors?

I miss Hoofkin but not as much as the other teams in the SEC do. :hihi:

They'll miss Jefferson when he's gone too. LSU will be scary good when they get a QB.

Hookfin played DB back in the late 90's, early 00's.

Dude got torched on a regular basis, and always seemed to be out of position.

He was so terrible, that people thought someone else was wearing his jersey (#33) for the South Carolina game in '00 when he had 2 picks, including one for a TD.
