#1 votes don't carry more weight than #3 votes? Just curious because that's how it works in most polls.

The coaches that are voting OK number one, are voting LSU number 3. They don't want LSU to pass up the Sooners. We passed them up in 03 didn't we!

Wut?!?! Last time the AP counted they tried screwing LSU out of a title. . . Let them stay exactly where they are, irrelevant. All these polls tell me is that we need a 100% computer poll because humans are clearly too biased.
i dont get is the love for ou. i really dont. and this time it isnt just because i cant stand that team. comparing schedules, using the coaches own rankings, so far.... Gooners Ranked 1 vs unranked Tulsa (home) Bye Ranked 1 vs ranked 4 FSU (away) Ranked 1 vs unranked Missouri (home) LSU Ranked 4 vs ranked 3 Oregon (neutral site) Ranked 3 vs unranked NW State (home) Ranked 3 vs ranked 25 Miss State (away) Ranked 3 vs ranked 16 WVU (away) the gooners have only played one ranked team. and although it was comparable (on paper) to us playing oregon, their other two games have been unranked. so make the comparison like this.... against ranked 3 vs against ranked 4 against two top 25 vs against two unranked against unranked vs bye unless bye is ranked really high and no one told me, i dont see how one can even begin to put ou over lsu or bama.
Coaches Poll factors into the BCS Ranking System as does strength of schedule. Which is why the computers will love LSU when it comes down to it, assuming the Tigers keep winning.
