About as good as it could get.

Rasco was all smiles and seen with Miles.

Tim Jernigan was living it up and soaking it in, along with his dad.

G-Rob decided to stay the night and celebrate with the team instead of driving home.

Some reports that Odell may have committed silently and will wait until the Army all-star game to announce officially.

With the advent of the nationally televised all-star games the silent commits make sense. We usually have at least one. Before these games became popular all the cloak and dagger stuff was illogical and usually foolish B.S.

If I was picked to play in the game I would tell Coach Miles that I am coming to LSU, but want to commit on National TV. Let the young men have their day in the sun. Even tho it is played in a Dome. :D

How did Stephen Rivers enjoy his trip to the LSU/Bama game? I am just hoping that we can get Mettenberger as well.

He actually had to cancel because his team is in the playoffs. But I hear he hates Bama so I am sure he was happy with the result.

Looking very good for Mettenberger still.

i only saw one Alabama commit on that list, i wonder if any LSU commits were able to get in his ear, and make him think a little.

I agree but a lot of them make asses of themselves. It can be very off putting. I do like seeing guys who committ to LSU do it with class. It makes me feel better about their character and their future at LSU.

One thing to consider is the pressure these kids are put under to commit at the games especially with the Army game.

But I do agree some of the announcements are over the top.

I wish they would stop all the ridiculous slight of hand with multiple hats. Are we at a carnival shell game or what? I think it shows immaturity and a lack of originality. Just announce where you are going to attend college and thank your parent(s). That would be nice and original.

...And for this the NCAA makes recruits wait till NSD to sign letters of intent.
