NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO It might not be what Tiger fans want, but LSU will have at least one SEC game play out during the day in Tiger Stadium. CBS has announced that the "Game of the Week" for Sep. 19 will be the LSU vs. Auburn matchup, which is now set to take place at 2:30 p.m. CT in Tiger Stadium. The week three matchup follows LSU's opening stretch of games against McNeese State in Tiger Stadium and Mississippi State in Starkville. The times have not been released for those two games. LSU could also wind up playing Texas A&M during the day in Tiger Stadium in the final week of the regular season. LSU athletics director Joe Alleva told ESPN104.5 on Thursday morning that the date and time of the game between LSU and Texas A&M has been set and will be released to the public on Friday.
September games in the hot Louisiana sun should never be considered. If we must play a day game, let it be in November.
Well that is one game I am not going to, I do not do September or August games during the day at tiger stadium anymore. We almost passed out from heat exhaustion a few years ago at the Florida day game, when they had the gates all messed up.
A few years ago some NFL coach wore a suit to honor a previous coach who always wore a suit, maybe Hank Stram I don't remember. The NFL fined him for wearing non NFL approved clothing.
