I thought he had a few more pitches too. Gervase drives me nuts with his follow through on some pitches when he heads straight for the LSU dugout and the ball goes the other way!
Worst pitching I've ever seen from an LSU staff. It is just horrible. Thought there was some improvement mid season but I was wrong. Need a new pitching coach (again/still) and maybe some new pitchers. Question now is who comes back? Gotta figure most are gone in the draft. Think Morgan and Dugas may come back??????
It was a great ride and LSU has nothing to hang its heads about. Considering the circumstances, I would say it was a great year. When you live on the edge long enough, eventually you will fall and that's what happened. USM deserved to win and they were the better team. I wish them well!
For me the part that is so hard to get over is the fact the batting order was like a Brandon Larsen l hit the 3 run homer with far weaker bats. The pitching and defense, especially in the infield was the worst I can remember. The pitching staff tonight needs to kiss the azzes of every position player on that team, awful performance……..again.
