Love the small ball run manufacturing... Sacrifices, Steals, not stranding runners every damn inning like we used to. Our bats will heat up eventually, Ochinko is a beast, Jackson is still as steady as ever. I think this team will end up fine this year..maybe not Omaha... but we'll have a good and fun year. Add: This team seems to take full advantage of mistakes (errors) by the teams they are playing...this was something that always happened "to" us... and not "for" us.
I'm still curious to see how we do against better pitching, otherwise I think I really like this team.
Well we didn't get many hits on below average pitching this weekend. But of course it's the first weekend. We'll see Friday night when we face Stetson's Ace who is pretty good.
We are playing in Deland this weekend (right outside of Orlando)!! I am going to the games and I am very excited!!! Actually Deland was one of the areas that got hit so hard by the tornados that went theough here last week. I was a little surprised that they are still having the games, it looks really bad around that area!!
