Rivals.com College Baseball - Rivals.com Top 25: Miami still on top

#16 on Rivals.com....looks like we are seriously headed for a NCAA regional back at the Box. Lets hope we stay redhot. I have a feeling this team has that swagger of the championship teams of old. If we finish the season with wins over Auburn, and a strong SEC tourney...we have a really good shot at Omaha.

why do the polls continue to hang on to Stanford, with a mediocre record of 29-18?

It gets silly after a while.

If LSU sweeps this week, we may be looking at nearly cracking the top 10.

That's pretty crazy from where we were a month ago.

I can't read this or type it (tried earlier to a friend) without getting teary eyed! My stomach does a flip when I think about going to Omaha again! I don't think anything in the world could make me happier!

Get the steaks out Husker Ed! :D

30 Days ago, these were not even thoughts entering into Tiger Baseball fans heads. What a great feeling knowing that we are possibly headed down the path to greatness again. A CWS Championship may not be in the cards just yet, but being in the hunt is certainly signs of daylight. Congradutlations Tigers, you make us all proud.

I watched the last 3 innings of our win over Stanford in the CWS in 2000 after the LSU/MSU game. Seeing Cresse's hit to win it and the replays with closeups of him, Theriot, the dugout, and Cresse's dad still sends chills up my spine. :D

whats weird, is that I feel better about our chance...once we're in the CWS. I freak out about the Super Regionals...But I don't want to get my hopes up, But the Tigers are playing with a purpose and just won't give up.

Considering how well we have done out of conference, I agree and share your same feelings. This team is coming together and maturing at the perfect time of the season. Coach Paul, figuring out his pitching rotation, deciding that Bradford fits better as a closer, and Bradshaw as a reliever has been key to our success. I think that this change will take us far, and I look forward to watching our Tigers play, bringing back the excitement that has been missing for the past few years.

So what will be our 1-2 punch in the pitching rotation come post season?

The kids Martin and Verduga to start. Bradshaw middle relief. Bradford to close.

    My opinion.
