Only thing I can figure is they would rather have it sold out much of the time, amking all of the seats more attractive. Baseball has been learning from the NFL. It's better to have full or nearly full stadiums for appearances and for demand.
Me too! I look for Clay and Q to really turn it up this year. But we need someone to take charge on and off the field. During the USC game at the CWS the dugout was silent. Only one player said "Quit feeling sorry for yourself and hit the ball!" The coaches were silent as well. The game started off with the usual "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!!!" but the momentum was lost. I saw the same thing at Rice several years back and Wally was the only one up trying to get everyone pumped.
