Will Hess become a full time starter or end up back in the closer role? Pitching staff needs to get healthy and get some experience before the SEC starts play.
We will find out. Got some young guns who will for sure get time to see what they can do. I would suspect with Walker hurt, we lack the depth to "not" use Hess as a starter, but I am sure CPM would love to cage this animal and use him as a closer. We wore his ass down last year in the CWS, but man, when that dude is fresh.......
Why is FL so strong in pitching while we’re trying to hobble a group of guys together. We lost guys to the draft, I heard. Is that a valid excuse? Maybe we should do a better job of evaluating which players are getting drafted? Professional sports destroying our roster; sounds familiar.
