Soap, you're right about not taking too much out of this series but one thing that is really big is Lane having no walks, that is huge. We also need to see how the fielding goes as that can be a weak point for this team.
Been listening via the web. For those either at the first game, or were at this one today, is Nicholls THAT bad? Or did we just put up that good an effort. 12-1 win yesterday, 14-2 in the 7th right now. We're off to a great start. I know some will say, "But it's just Nicholls St." ...but when you put up 26 runs through 16 innings, that's impressive no matter who you're playing.

Nicholls looked bad today....Tigers, OK against a low tier opponent. You could tell that Nicholls had the wind let out after the first inning....12-1 last nite and 19-2 today....I'll be suprised if Nicholls rebounds on Sunday. Nicholls just flat out looked deflated in the first inning today...LSU hitters teeing off on their pitcher...they never recovered. I almost felt bad for them...no wait..awww hell, I did feel bad for them.
