think I might just watch the bottom of the 9th one more time....or ten before the night is over....love that DVR
FINALLY home from work. I hear there was a ball game on TV today. We were busy as hell all day. Occassionally, someone would walk by and spit out the score to me. Got caught up between Helinihi getting on base and Ochinko getting plunked, and started watching it at that point. How the heck does Mainieri manage to get his best hitters to the plate in these situatons? This ain't the 1st time Dean or Clark is in a position to do this.
thats what gets me. dean is always up at the most critical times it seems. somehow clark in the 6 hole works as well.
Well Thursday is my birthday, so maybe the Tigers will give me a present too with a win. :tigbas::tigbas::tigbas::tigbas::tigbas:
This LSU baseball team has taken a couple of Yogi Berraisms to new heights. It aint over till its over...and its deja vue all over again.. I love this team.
he said it right earlier in the broadcast. i think he just screwed it because of the excitement in the air in the stadium. it was quite a finish, after all.
btw...I changed my wallpaper back to the one Ive been using all year after that last game...I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN (so dont start a new wallpaper thread anymore when we got something good going )
Like Nutriaitch I experienced a wild & crazy day at the office. I got to listen to the on-line radio broadcast early on, but the last score I heard we were down 3-0. Next thing I know I get to check, the games over, and we win 6-5. The PG version of my reaction was "You gotta be kidding me." What a W!! Keep the streak going Tigers. :thumb:
