I had to work today but heard the bottom of the 9th when the Tigers tied it. Which I could have heard the winning HR. GO TIGERS!
looks like i found kendall and clearly he has been home-schooled. CockySpace(aka kendall) Default Re: SEC Tourney Game 1:: USC vs LSU This just pissessss me off sooooooooooo bad!!! We need somebody thats got the BALLS to step up and go after batters in the bottom of the 9th you have got to make a team beat u not give them baserunners. your up by four solo shots dont hurt you cause you got some room to spar but you have to be agressive and go after people!! this walking ****s is pathetic. make them put the ball in play for gods shake!! we dont need finese at the end of the game we need a power pitcher who says this is my stuff if you hit it fine but dont give them baserunners!! them two walks just killed our confidence. it amazies me how we blow these leds. we need someone to step up and be a chad blackwell type. just needed to rant a bit cause this one hurts bad but damn somebody ball up and go after people.
I was on the road during the 9th and 10th innings. Talk about great. I wasn't able to hear any of the game until then (Props to RHans for the pbp: You helped the work day). I'm super proud of the tigers. They showed some real guts today. Beating Auburn by a ton had me a little worried. I was afraid they'd go into the SEC tourney and not be able to play catch up well. This is a huge confidence building win for them. This wasn't a cocky, look at how good we are win. This was a dirty, hard fought game. During the 9th inning Hawthorne was saying that the Tigers have not been blanked all year. I thought that was an outstanding stat. They seem to always find the ball, no matter who the pitcher is.
Well, Dean has been my favorite Tiger baseball player for the last 2 years...came thru for me today!!! Morris style (well almost :hihi btw...just think if that was Nicholas (previous at bat) who hit that ball down the left field line
