yep. and i really hope skips doctor is watching the games with him! in all seriousness, i hope coach bertman is doing better and enjoying the games! :thumb:
No, not really. I avoid that place as much as possible. I just get bad vibes there. It feels too much . . . well, I never knew how much I feared Westerners. Heh! It was the only place I ever ran into some people I could talk football with. And that was around September. The only two times I've been back since then were to eat (two of the few Mexican restaurants in Korea are there). I actually live outside of Seoul, in Bundang (Seongnam City). I'll be moving south to Daegu in August, so I'll be a few hours from Seoul then. Being an American sports fan sure is different here. For one, I watch games at much different times than I used to. However, I was only a lurker on here for nearly four years of membership before, and now I am posting more. I relied heavily on this forum for basketball and baseball games since there was no way I could see them. For football, I was able to watch almost all of them (except TigerVision games) since they were nationally televised and available on the internet through podcasts.
Gottcha. :thumb: When I was in the USAF in the '80s used to go TDY once a year to Taegu and spent a night in Seoul on the way in & out.
OkieTiger, Great call of the game! Thanks! I read about it a little late, but with your call, I got it all. Nice to see all our Tiger faithful pass a good time, even Terrebone in Seoul, and BayouBengal in Orlando. And Rhanson and CO Tiger. Way to enjoy that game! :geaux:
Well, we won - But, did anyone think the coach left LSU's pitcher in there a tad to long or was that just me?? :geaux:
I think I need Skip's doctor watching the game with me tomorrow, Okie. And I thought last year's Auburn football game was exciting - Holy Cow! How 'bout our Tigers? :miles:
After the 4th, leaving Bradford in any longer was a gamble. But he came out and pitched great after that.
