I was thinking the same thing earlier. Who knew we would see the LSU flag flying in Omaha when we finished up that Georgia series. The GREAT thing is that this team is young, and could be special for the next few years as well.
My cousin's wife just had a baby girl yesterday (she was very surprised to be expecting because she's 41.) Their other two children were born in '93 and '96, so maybe Baby Ellie will bring the same luck her sister and brother's births did to the Tigers in Omaha.
For starters, he wasn't drafted as high as the others. And I guess second is because he doesn't have a "cool" name like Buster or Gordon or Yonder. That is okay. Come middle of next week, hopefully will everyone will know his name....sorta like that scene from American Beauty when Kevin Spacey catches his wife the real estate dude and tells him "something tells me you will remember me now."
me. as always! no way would i be watching a game at home without tf. gotta have other tiger fans around.
i think the only ones i missed were when i was in nola/br for a long weekend. and three of those four games i caught in person. btw, still reminding greenie that tulane was the start of the streak and getting to where we are. how i am not buried in my back yard yet, i dont know.
