1. No prob!!!! :yelwink2:

I don't post that much here, but I was actually happy to see that article in the paper because I totally agree with PM's statements and I'm happy to see that he's doing a little self-reflection on the program right now. At least he's still not blaming on the new bats or bad luck. :thumb:
  2. Put a fork in the Tigers for this year.
  3. Haven't our recruiting classes been regarded as at least amongst the best the past few years? I know recruiting rankings can be guess work, but how do we have a lack of talent? I don't get it.
  4. Yeah, I would've liked to see the actual question he was responding to in order to get the full context instead of a pull quote. The story makes it sound like Mainieri thought his kids couldn't hack it.
  5. Manieri is using hindsight. Clearly our guys were not as good as most of the rest of the SEC. I'm hoping the new guys will develop into the studs they were projected to be. On the bright side, a weekend rotation of Eades, McCune and Gausman for the next 2 years does not suck. The Tigers won't stay down for long.
  6. Mainieri.
  7. surprisingly, we failed to get Top 25 recruiting classes for 2 of the last 3 seasons, at least according to Baseball America

those last three recruiting classes are our whole team, other than our two seniors (Alsup and Bradshaw)

you'd think coming off a season where we went to the CWS, we'd be rated higher in Fall 2008, and you'd think coming off a National Championship season, we'd be rated higher in Fall 2009

  8. I'll be damned.
  9. Very interesting. I didn't know that. More reason to believe that last year's #1 (or 2) class is setting the stage for better things.
  10. He's eligible for the draft after next year. It sucks because his junior year could be a good year for a title run.
