6 1-run SEC losses. That hurts. Mainieri has always been more of a tournament coach than a regular season coach, so knowing how good this team CAN be (CSF), I wouldn't want to face them in the postseason. The problem is that the way things are falling, LSU is really in a bad position to make the SECT.

Even if LSU manages to win this series, they are still 1 game out of 8th place at best, with a trip to top 5 Vandy next week.

Gausman struck out 3 of the first 4 batters he faced, and 4 of the first 6. Struck them all out swinging. Has a no-hitter going after 2 innings.

Also, nice to see Ty Ross throw out the guy trying to steal second
