Actually, I think that UK will be one of the biggest (national) dissappointments. They are having some problems in the bluegrass!
Yep, they went pretty hard after Greg Oden, the 7 footer who inked with Ohio State.... there was a day kids like this wound up at UK... sign of the times. btw, someone convince me that Oden is only 18.... please???
sign of the times is right. tubby smith is really old school in regards to hard-nosed defense, low scoring games. it seems that tubby recruits a particular type of athlete to fit his system, and each year the quality seems to go down. imo, kentucky basketball has been propped up for years by the "aura" of rupp arena, pitino's bambino's, the ghost of rupp, etc. tubby has cleaned house with several players leaving the program this off season. it will be an interesting year at co rupp t arena.
