After last season would you have expected the tigers to be a 3 pt dog to the mighty Wildcats ? And have the outcome actually be that close ? Without first drinking heavily ? This is a milestone to show you just how far this program has advanced in a half season of ball.
Sounds good but even with Johnny Jones there were a few close games with KY that LSU could have won but didn't. I think the players just get pumped up and play over their heads.
It really looked in this case like they weren’t playing quite as crisp as usual because of the UK on the other guy’s unis. I do agree that we need to hold the accolades until we get some wins under the belt. A&M is probably better than UK right now.
A&M will be tough and no doubt lining up against Cal and the Cats is daunting. But they held their own. Losing sucks but they broke through a serious mental barrier with that. They proved they belong.
