Good point. He (Hield) posted something a few weeks ago to the effect of "When coaches tell you that you aren't ready to start, listen to them. Friends and family will tell you that you are better than this guy or that guy and that is the worst thing you can hear" I haven't followed OU basketball enough to know if Buddy started as a Freshman but from that post I can only assume that he didn't, or if he did he wasn't any good. Just found that interesting. I still don't see Simmons as a game changer, not now. He could be he might be but he isn't right now. Serge Ibaka is a good comparison.
