    Good point. He (Hield) posted something a few weeks ago to the effect of "When coaches tell you that you aren't ready to start, listen to them. Friends and family will tell you that you are better than this guy or that guy and that is the worst thing you can hear" I haven't followed OU basketball enough to know if Buddy started as a Freshman but from that post I can only assume that he didn't, or if he did he wasn't any good. Just found that interesting. I still don't see Simmons as a game changer, not now. He could be he might be but he isn't right now.

    Serge Ibaka is a good comparison. Broke into the league and had game, good game and everyone said WOW, imagine what this guy will be when he gets better. Only problem is he was already at his ceiling and now is going backwards. I hope that doesn't happen to Ben.

    During the Lsu game they did a thing on the evolution of his shot. Listened to coaches, changed mechanics and ppg skyrocketed.

    7 ppg and 24% 3FG as Fr.
