he should keep his mouth shut, but in his defense, its gotta be hard to hear the coach say that---IF you consider yourself a point guard. btw, how is voogd anything but a PG? he may not be the best (remains to be seen), but he's no combo or SG playing PG.
Yeah, it's going to be interesting... From what I can tell, and before everyone bashes Tack, he HAS gotten his Assist-TO ratio better so far although he's had less minutes (it's better than Voogd's). And, he hasn't forced a lot of shots--he's even .500 from 3 point land. The bottomline is the kid didn't play at all last year, and as a result he's got a final four starter and the primary PG back up playin' in front of him. And, both of them (Temple and Voogd) have improved. So, as with all of the spots on the floor, there's more competition for PT for everyone. BUT, we've got to give this season some more time. I think if Tack continues to improve, you will see him eventually move ahead of Ben, b/c Ben just hasn't shown to me he can score. We'll see what happens against the Shockers. Let's not look ahead to the Texas schools. Wichita State is a real basketball school, and a ranked team. I hope we see some good attendance this Saturday for the game. The fans need to start showing up... What's impressed me is that all of the squad seems to have improved, from Chris Johnson to Alex Farrer. These guys are getting in the game and contributing. I mean you could see LSU play 9-10 guys and see starters in the low 30s in terms of minutes. :bball: IT IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. PACK THE PMAC.
You would think for a season opener, with many LSU fans ON CAMPUS for the Ole Miss game we could gather some more people.....maybe more will come...
