Solid win by the Ladies 81 - 58. Almost to that perfect SEC season.

Just got in from this game. My second ever LSU women's bball game. This is to be expected of course but the atmopshere between last week and tonight was night and day. The crowd was sad in comparison to a typical crowd at a men's game - ANY men's game has a better crowd than what was there tonight.

Had great seats for the game though and was able to see the speed of their game up close. Wow, LSU killed Kentucky on the fast break. Never seen so many fast breaks by a team executed so well as tonight.

Still waking up from being at the game though... yawn. ;)

I love the LSU women, but the only knock I have is they have a tendency to play out of control. Against Tennessee, they were up 10 or so with 2 mins left, and they kept trying to push it. Pokey was a PG though, so she will teach the ladies how to manage the game.

I was going to go to this one but due to factors beyond my control I didn't attend. Watched it on TV and noticed that the fan turnout was a fraction of what it was the week before. Ah well, can't expect a full crowd for a mediocre Kentucky team. The women's game is slower paced than the men's, so I suppose people lose interest more quickly than a normal game.

They play there game and they will have some tunrovers just like every running team does, don't worry about it. Look at the assist to tunrover ratio to get an idea of of good they are doing, not just turnovers. Tameeka is and has been the best PG in the nation.

Tirk, Rudy will alwys be one of my top 3 Tigahs I ever saw in person, he was so unselfish, so smooth and deadly from 10-15 feet. UK had a guy in the saem time frame that was a clone of Rudy, name of Jack Givens. Love to watch players like him. I also liked Simms a lot, another bery unselfish guy that played his role perfectly.
