They announced during the Tennessee game last week that Pokey does it so as not to put pressure on Fowles to perform. It helps relax her in Pokey's eyes.
Believe me, if she would have slowed it down, and had the LSU offense go into prevent mode and gave up that entire lead and lose the game, you would have never heard the end of it. I, for one, am glad to see that Pokey has this attitude of being continually aggressive from the opening tipoff to the final buzzer.
