Don't fool yourself. It's going to be an absolute dogfight. Take very little away from that ECU game.
I always find it funny that people think they can actually affect the outcome of something completely out of their hands just by talking about it.
Will what I say on a message board directly get back to players? No. However, it does feed into an atmosphere of non-shalantness about the opponent that can have an affect on the team. Players go to classes with other students still, it's not like they live in a bubble until game day. If you hear about how bad VT is all week, it could creep into the way you think about the team.
Va. Tech will be ready for this game, you better believe that. I just hope the LSU team's ready. I know the fan's will be.
If fans talking controls how they prepare for an opponent...we're in trouble already. BUT, I am talking about the whole "jinx" thing...like people talking about how beautiful the weather is gonna be this weekend...and others saying "Don't say that!!! You'll JINX it"!:dis:
VT QB will not improve enough to win at LSU in DeafValley...I see atleast 3 INTs and a bunch of sacks. He had a terrible game, and I promise you...if he had a hard time with ECU. Wait till there's 93k screaming on his snap counts and check-offs.
Watching the play of our O-Line on the replay tonight actually has me more worried about VT. They just got abused for a good portion of the game. Hokies won't let us get away with that.
