With Marquise coming back, we have our bookend DE's and Kyle Williams back on the DL. Chad leaves huge shoes to fill, but we are deep in talent on the DL and should be okay there.

Nobody was a more pleasant surprise this year at LB than Eric Alexander, but with Turner and Vaughn back, there are several good options to fill Alexander's spot.

We have our lock down CB's back, but perhaps the most difficult player to replace will be Hunt, who made sure the DB's were in the right coverages and positions. We have lots of players who could step up and fill Hunt's spot in terms of skill but someone will have to learn the coverage schemes inside out so that we effectively have a coach on the field at DB. Since DB's are Nick's personal specialty, I am sure he is already working on a solution to this problem.

Believe it or not, the defense next year might even be better than last year's. Since our defense this year is one of the best I've seen in many years of watching college ball, next year's defense could be one of the best ever.

I agree with you man. This year we allowed what 12 points a game. Next year, we could definitely lower that number. The future is so bright.
