No sir. You worked hard at being cordial on a rival board.

Laduckfan worked hard at putting down our team and saying absurd things like Oregon had a dozen guys with sub-4.3 speed and that LSU would get tired trying to keep up.

Trying to express his viewpoint, the best he knew how. Respectful, tried to be friendly.

Last word from me on the subject.

It was harder for him to be nice.... then it was for you guys.

    He tried hard.

This is a good spot to thank all for the kind words. Especially Red, he stepped forward, after my first post and welcomed me. Although,.. somehow my avatar just, suddenly, magically transformed.

As I see it he was just being a homer for his team. He said how great he hoped his team would be as I did about how great I hoped my tigers would be. To me, it was more fun having other posters on the board. It brought mor excitement and anticipation waiting for the season to start.
I spoke of lsu smash mouth style power football just as he spoke of speedy high flying uo offensive attacks. I know he got a little overboard exaggerating a little just as I thought the tigers were a team of 12' tall 400 pound battle ready Sasquatches that ate thunder and crapped lightning.
Some people may have gotten into arguements with the dude and have hard feelings but I took everything he said with a grain of salt. It's all in fun, anyway.
It's better to have other posters from opposing schools than not. His duck colored glasses wernt any more tinted than my purple and gold ones are. His stats were a little off and his reasoning was surely flawed but it was more fun to have him here than not.
He was a lot better than the wvu dude last year. The duck talked football and not about our momma atleast.

Anybody happen to get a photo with that hot blonde chick wearing the Oregon Flag as a cape at the Cowboy Classic? I missed out but would love a pic of it for my album.

My friend and his pregnant wife had to leave their section due to an LSU fan threatening to kill him if he stood up to cheer for the Ducks! I saw some of the worst fans I've ever seen at that game. I also had some great talk with some excellent LSU fans that were great people. The "Tiger bait" thing didn't bother me at all, tradition is tradition. For the record, if we ever play each other again (hopefully in our house) Duck calls don't bother us at all, they are music to our ears. We all just laughed because the calls made it sound like there was more of us there than there was. I'm guessing you have never won a sportsmanship award and probably never will, but you do have a Championship trophy I guess.

Easy,.. forum members have discussed this topic in depth. Both sides have complaints. I think it's concluded. It's unfair to blame the population, for the actions of a few stupid individuals.

So, think of something else to talk about.

An LSU fan threatened to kill someone at the stadium? In public? That's a felony if true and he could have been arrested for that. Surely, there were plenty of witnesses. Why didn't this friend and/or his wife seek out security or law enforcement? Why wasn't the coullion LSU fan escorted from the premises? Something doesn't add up here.

I am sure there was some poor behavior at the game. Not trying to excuse it. But threatening to kill someone? This isn't Raider fan at Candlestick Park or the Oakland Coliseum. lol

Maybe it's because he is full of it. Who in the hell doesn't go straight to the police when someone seriously threatens their pregnant wife?? BS
